This policy covers our lead-magnet pages, the GhostLeads calculator/app, related opt-in forms, emails, and our HighLevel affiliate pages (together, the "Services").

1. What we collect

You give us

  • Name, email, phone (if you provide it), company/agency name, city, and role
  • Audience type you select (for example, real estate agency or independent insurance agency)
  • Numbers you enter in GhostLeads (for example, lead volume, response time, close rate, and agent names and monthly figures), and the calculations created from them
  • Logo files you upload, support requests, and other messages you send us
  • If you upload a lead list / CSV to a signed-in GhostLeads dashboard (a Premium feature that is not available yet): the rows read from that file (which may include your customers' or prospects' names, contact details, and related fields), plus the file name and row count. We do not keep the original file. The free GhostLeads lead check scores your file in your browser and does not send it to us; see section 3.

We collect automatically

  • Device and browser info, IP address, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from IP
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies)

We do not ask you to upload Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, or payment card numbers into GhostLeads. Do not put that data in a CSV.

2. How we use information

  • Deliver the PDF lead magnet and GhostLeads results you request
  • Score or estimate appointment/lead gaps as estimates only — not guarantees of sales, income, or compliance
  • Send transactional and nurture emails you opted into (with unsubscribe)
  • Respond to support requests
  • Improve the Services and fix bugs
  • Detect abuse and secure the Services
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms

Affiliate relationship. We act as an independent affiliate of HighLevel and not as HighLevel itself. If you buy HighLevel through our link, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you; the price you pay HighLevel does not change. HighLevel's own privacy policy governs any data you give HighLevel.

3. Uploaded lead files (important)

How GhostLeads handles your file depends on which tool you use:

  • Free lead check: the free GhostLeads lead check scores your file in your browser. The file is not uploaded to or stored on our servers.
  • Signed-in dashboard upload (Premium, not available yet): we store the rows read from your file, plus the file name and row count, on our servers. We do not keep the original file. We keep this data until you ask us to delete it or your account is closed, and in any case we delete it within 30 days after your account is closed, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

For data you upload to a signed-in dashboard:

  • You remain the controller of that data. You must have a lawful right to share it with us.
  • We process it to run the GhostLeads analysis you request and to show you results.
  • We do not sell your uploaded lead lists.
  • We do not use your uploaded leads to market insurance, real estate, or other products for ourselves unless you separately agree in writing.

GhostLeads does not make you TCPA-, CAN-SPAM-, or insurance-law compliant. Scoring and estimates are informational only. You are responsible for your own licensing, consent, and outreach rules.

4. Who can see your information and when we share it

Your GhostLeads account data is visible to you and to the people who run GhostLeads for us (our authorized personnel and contractors), who can access it to provide support and to operate and secure the Services. Other GhostLeads users cannot see it.

We share information with:

  • Service providers who host the site, send email, process analytics, or store files (under contracts that limit their use)
  • Professionals (lawyers, accountants) when needed
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety
  • A buyer of our business, under this policy's protections

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless we update this policy and give you any required choice.

5. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tools for basic site function, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies in your browser; some features may not work if you block them.

6. Emails and texts

If you opt in to email, we send the materials you requested and related follow-ups. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link and our physical mailing address. If we ever send marketing texts, we will only do so with the consent required by law, and you can reply STOP to opt out.

7. Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No method is 100% secure. We keep account and contact data while your relationship with us lasts and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute purposes, then delete or anonymize it. Lead files follow the rules in section 3: the free lead check never sends your file to us, and dashboard uploads are handled as described there.

When data is deleted, copies may remain in our database backups for up to 14 days until those backups are overwritten.

Calculations run without an account. If you use the calculator without signing in and never save the result to an account, that calculation isn't linked to you, so we can't find or delete it later. Anyone with that report's share link can view it, so don't enter names you don't want shared.

8. Children

The Services are for business users age 18+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or under 16 where that is the standard).

9. Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from marketing email via the link in any message
  • Deleting your account: you can delete your account at any time in GhostLeads under Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your sign-in and the data in your account, including calculations, agents and their figures, uploads, support messages, and logo files, and we email you a confirmation. We keep only: your email address on our do-not-email list and in unsubscribe links from emails we already sent, so you stay unsubscribed; a record that a deletion happened, without your email address; and email delivery logs, which we delete after 90 days. If you can't sign in, email [email protected] from the address on your account and we will delete it within 30 days. To delete a single upload or other specific data, email us too.
  • Request access to or correction of your account data by emailing [email protected]
  • Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights to know, delete, or correct personal information, and to appeal a denied request. To exercise those rights, email [email protected]. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

10. International users

We operate in the United States. If you use the Services from elsewhere, you understand your information may be processed in the U.S.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new effective date here and, if changes are material, provide additional notice (for example by email or a site banner).
